Yesterday we stumbled upon an eastern inspired gem in the heart of the Cotswolds. Sezincote House stands in an enviable location, nestled in the Cotswold Hills, just outside the beautiful market town of Moreton-in-Marsh.
Sezincote House is a unique wedding and party venue, set within a romantic water garden with manicured lawns and its very own temple.
Architecturally the house is styled on the Mogal architecture of Rajastan and there is a wonderful curved orangery, which is licensed for wedding ceremonies. The house and gardens have the most amazing views of the Cotswolds with distant hills and church spires.
What we love about Sezincote House is the fact that the owners are keen to maintain a refined approach and do not wish to turn the venue into a wedding factory. They provide a bespoke wedding service for up to six couples and their guests a year, ensuring the integrity of the building is upheld and a truly personal service is guaranteed.

Sezincote House is a five minute drive to Moreton-in-Marsh train station (London Paddington line), which makes life easy for guests coming down from London. The venue has two wonderful bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms for bridal parties to change in. Although there is no overnight accommodation, the surrounding area is full of hotels ranging from the uber chic and newly refurbished Dormy House to charming farmhouse B&Bs.
We felt privileged to have a private and personal guided tour of such a stunning Cotswold venue. Yes, Sezincote House is breathtaking, whilst still achieving a wonderfully romantic and calm atmosphere.
We really can’t wait to organise a wedding or party there one day soon!
