A gaggle of Cotswold wedding venues? A flourish? An abundance?!
Recently we have been scouting around to find the best Cotswold wedding and party venues, and would like to introduce you to these three little gems.
With a fantastic rural setting, Oxleaze Barn near Lechlade was traditionally a grain store, built from Cotswold stone, and its towering beams make an absolutely stunning setting for both weddings, parties and corporate events. Whilst the owner Katie showed us around the barn and the terrific annexe (great for getting ready for the big entrance, a children’s hideout, or for a quiet retreat away from the party), horses eyed us from the field of this family-run working farm.
The barn doors open wide onto a private courtyard and terraced lawn which is perfect for drinks and outdoor entertaining in the summer around the fire pit. The barn is warm and toasty on winter evenings, heated by the glorious open fireplace and under-floor heating. Katie’s mother has also worked her magic on the surrounding gardens, a perfect backdrop for photographs. You can really make this your own little piece of paradise, and we’d love to help you!
Looking for a venue for a Cotswold House Party then look no further than Barton Farm, on the edge of the Cotswold village of Guiting Power.
This beautifully renovated former farmhouse sits in around 13 acres of gardens, pasture and woodland (did we mention the tennis court, cinema snug, heated outdoor pool and barbeque barn?

A marquee on the extensive front lawn offers a huge space for your wedding or party, and the whole house is yours for your stay – that’s eleven bedrooms and eight bathrooms in the main house and a further two bedrooms and one bathroom in the attached cottage to accommodate your lucky guests. Stay on and enjoy the heated swimming pool, tennis court, football pitch (post-wedding match maybe?) or just wander around the beautiful gardens drinking it all in.
Only a small number of weddings and parties are allowed between April and September to help protect the quality of the lawns and estate, so get in quick and give us a call!
