One of England’s finest seventeenth-century stately homes, Ragley Hall became the backdrop for an extraordinary multi-day wedding celebration bringing together guests from America, Europe and the Middle East.
The wedding ceremony took place at the historic Church of St Michael and All Angels in the beautiful Cotswold town of Broadway. Dating back to 1608, the church is renowned for its elegant arches, carved woodwork and stained-glass windows, creating a spectacular setting for the ceremony.
Style & Atmosphere
The wedding combined the grandeur of an English stately home with the warmth and hospitality of a destination wedding. Abundant spring flowers, seasonal foliage and a dramatic floral entrance installation transformed the church, while Ragley Hall provided an elegant setting for the celebrations that followed.
Guests were welcomed by the sound of traditional bagpipes performed by a Scots Guards piper in full ceremonial uniform before enjoying a reception within the stately rooms of Ragley Hall. Dinner was served in the principal state hall before guests entered a spectacular candlelit marquee featuring enormous crystal chandeliers, a bespoke hand-painted dance floor, a Broadway-style stage for a 20-piece live band, and an elegant bar and dessert lounge.
Guest Experience
With guests travelling from America, Europe and the Middle East, the wedding was designed as a luxury multi-day celebration showcasing the very best of England and the Cotswolds.
Guests arrived on Friday and enjoyed a relaxed rehearsal dinner before spending Saturday exploring the surrounding countryside. Some visited Daylesford Organic and the picturesque Cotswold villages, while others enjoyed a round of golf at Broadway Golf Club before preparing for the wedding celebrations.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening at Ragley Hall before dancing late into the night. Celebrations continued on Sunday with an after-party at The Fish Hotel featuring a live roaming band flown in from the South of France. A smaller group remained on Monday to attend the Cheltenham Festival races, bringing an extraordinary wedding weekend to a memorable close.
