The brief
November can be a cold and wet time to organise a marquee party, but that didn’t stop us.
Our client wanted to celebrate their 50th birthday with 120 of their friends and family at home in the Cotswolds.
We used gorgeous warm colours, a cosy black marquee lining and an abundance of seasonal greenery paired with hanging glass tealights for an enchanting evening. Following the valet parking service on arrival, guests were welcomed by delicious canapes and smoothing live jazz band, before being seated for a formal dinner.
Speeches and toasts were followed by our DJ nailing the party playlist.
With a mostly international guest list many guests stayed in local accommodation including The Wild Rabbit, Kingham and The Bay Tree, Burford. We hosted a brunch the following morning so the hosts could make the most of seeing their guests from aboard before they departed.
