The brief
A wedding for 250 guests in the grounds of a Cotswold manor house, overlooking the lake.
An October wedding with warm autumn colours and sunsets over the Cotswolds. After a local church service, guests were driven in golf buggies and arrived to the reception marquee for Champagne and mouth-watering Italian style canapés. As the live jazz band played, guests spilled out onto balconies overlooking the lake.
Surprise was key to this wedding with a series of breathtaking reveals – guests were stunned when the curtain dropped on the dining marquee. Enormous olive trees and long tables adorned with a rustic hedgerow of flowers and chic candles at different levels created a perfectly romantic atmosphere.
The final toast of dinner led to the drop reveal of the dance floor, which was raised above the dining area and guests watched as the bride and groom performed their first dance to a 12-piece live band.
At midnight, guests went onto the balcony next to the dance floor and were awestruck by the final surprise of the night – a laser and fire display to music. As smoke filtered over the lake, Skyfall played on a state of the art outside speaker system and synchronised computer-controlled lasers beamed through the haze and reflected off the water. This was interspersed with 30ft gas flames, all in time to the music.
Late night pizzas, DJs, photo booths and espresso martinis kept the guests partying till dawn…
Totally unique. Simply unforgettable.
