Weekend Wedding in the Cotswolds

A London couple looking to host a two-day wedding over the bank holiday weekend for 150 guests in the heart of the Cotswolds at the bride’s family home. The weekend was to include an outdoor ceremony, dinner and party, with a brunch for all to enjoy the following day.

Guests arrived Saturday and were shown to their luxury bell tents, complete with boxes of glamping snacks and essentials. A pamper tent was kitted out for ladies (and gents) to enjoy getting ready with ease.

At the front of the house a traditional canvas tent hosted the drinks reception and brunch over the two days. A second frame marquee was built over the existing tennis court for dinner and dancing.

Their relaxed outdoor ceremony was held in front of a mini amphitheatre, accessed through a meadow of wild flowers.

The couple wanted an elegant feel to the day using vivid seasonal colours, and living ceiling-scape in the main marquee. Our florist used individual bud vases, candles and mixed colour palette to compliment the wild ceiling adorned with hops and festoon lighting, where guests enjoyed a 3 course middle-eastern inspired feast.

The record player sounded out the first dance, followed by a DJ that made sure the dance floor was filled all night!

The second day welcomed a decadent brunch that included healthy bites, mini bacon rolls and fresh coffee. Guests enjoyed the chilled out vibes of the acoustic band before continuing into another night of celebrations..
